Concerned citizen

 I find myself worrying about everyone's physical being, but truly it is their connection to understanding that I am concerned about. Suffering and pain, a long time ago I wrote that these were what life was made of. At that time I was living as nothing more than a body on a planet in a universe that I pictured to be as big as our galaxy. My concept of being was so limited and my focus was on one level of life that is truly microscopic when we allow ourselves to know more about the universe with all it's galaxies. It is mind blowing when one can begin to imagine the layers of consciousness that are held within the awareness of every human body in every state of being. Then the realization of the wonder behind having any form of thinking at all should be amazing as we stand as one portion of a whole that can be so confounding. Because we have been standing here thinking of ourselves as all important, when really we are each a tool of our whole to experience another possibility of what can be in existence. I get wound up in it, you get wrapped up in it, we are so often drawn so deeply into it that we forget to imagine all that thinking can offer us. I want to keep my thoughts continuously focused on soul, but I know I am here to be a human. As that I live and do as a human should do, but I do it knowing that as a being of energy I am doing it all for the pleasure of experience. In that, I offer you love and your own version of the same understanding.

Men

 I have been inspired by many men in my life, from family members to those I never knew but who made me push my mind. I try to find a lesson through every person I meet, and there has been so much inspiration given to me by wonderful and wise women in my life, but right now I will stick with the men who have brought something memorable to my life. My father has taught me so much; from patience as he watched me work through my own mistakes, trying to give me guidance which I always accepted so slowly over time, rarely when it would have been the most useful. As I have watched him keep his body strong and able to play throughout his life, I learned that staying in good shape allows me to play at things that have brought me joy and energy since I was young; two wheeled toys are so much fun. Would you

 I wonder how much faith you would put into the sincerity of a person who says they are self made and came from nothing, then it came to light that their career began at their father's real estate company? Which they were given and were able to expand because of their father's financial and political backing that enabled them to do their first deals, demolishing and renovating landmark buildings. Would you trust a person who in order to avoid the financial ruin of their businesses used methods which were legally dubious to avoid paying taxes, and whose own lawyers described their activities as improper.
