In me
At this moment and for about a month something new is living within my body. It is amazing to consider how I have bacteria living in and on my body which are so many generations old that they go back to my birth. They were carried by my mother and were part of my initial colonization, little adventurers seeking to extend their lineage by being part of the world as Jason. It is doubtful that all the strains have survived, but there must be babies of babies so many generations back that make up my bodies current world.
The new resident that seems to have found a home within my skull is acting similar to other colonized creatures, in that it is not currently trying to kill me or make me feel bad in general. It seems to have found a hiding spot in some nasal cavity near my right ear; I say this because since it first entered I have had the almost continuous woosh of my blood moving through that ear. It is interesting to consider a small colony of this new resident living there, having a subtle affect on my life, but not enough to make me feel endangered.
As I am listening to the sound of my blood passing through my ear I have been reminded more often of my prayer, "God is every thing" which is connected to my heartbeat. This has brought about thinking of the vastness of space within me, and in that space I saw the dragon floating inside my head near my ear. It sits and watches the colony live within me. I am also considering the experience of death and that draws me closer to the possibility of my eternal awareness and the layers of consciousness that rests just beyond this brain.
It is amazing to consider how the many microscopic life forms of the world interact and affect our being. Taking care of them and keeping a balanced environment for the supportive colonies to survive can help to create a wonderful world of your body. As new residents take up homes and try to become part of our residential micro biome it is interesting to be able to recognize how they are interacting with you and possibly with your ancient residential strains. Remain balanced and seek peace with all you come into contact with, using the tools necessary to control them if they become too much of a threat. I shall see what becomes of the new visitor within me, maybe you can remember to consider what is living on and in you so you can work to give them an environment that allows the most supportive to thrive and help you live a healthy life.
Love,
PEACE
