Why do

 Why are we here? I have come to this place, as this little tiny mass of atoms on a slightly larger clump of floating dirt so that I can have human experiences. I am here to watch and feel the snow fall, to smell the warmth of spring and summer wrap their energy around me. I am here to love and receive love. What do I want? I want every being on this planet to have access to comfort and an open door to joy. I also want my own experience to be gently adventuresome, surrounded by happy humans loving and sharing the gift of existence. Why do I want this? I see every person as a piece of the light and love that is pouring out of the first thought of "Í can". We are all doing the experiencing that makes up what can be a joy in living and growing together. Be part of the wonder in the world.

Men

 I have been inspired by many men in my life, from family members to those I never knew but who made me push my mind. I try to find a lesson through every person I meet, and there has been so much inspiration given to me by wonderful and wise women in my life, but right now I will stick with the men who have brought something memorable to my life. My father has taught me so much; from patience as he watched me work through my own mistakes, trying to give me guidance which I always accepted so slowly over time, rarely when it would have been the most useful. As I have watched him keep his body strong and able to play throughout his life, I learned that staying in good shape allows me to play at things that have brought me joy and energy since I was young; two wheeled toys are so much fun. Would you

 I wonder how much faith you would put into the sincerity of a person who says they are self made and came from nothing, then it came to light that their career began at their father's real estate company? Which they were given and were able to expand because of their father's financial and political backing that enabled them to do their first deals, demolishing and renovating landmark buildings. Would you trust a person who in order to avoid the financial ruin of their businesses used methods which were legally dubious to avoid paying taxes, and whose own lawyers described their activities as improper. When we consider the people who have come from poverty or lived near the edge of poverty throughout parts of their younger lives and have been able to build a world around themselves that supports a comfortable living experience for their families, then we can compare and see what self made really looks like.
