Less than 1

 It is 2025, are you earning $100,000 or more per year? I say that if you are making that much money and you are not living comfortably with the ability to have some extras here and there, then you are doing it wrong. An individual earning $100,000 or more per year can live in comfort, have some nice toys and get in some travel if they are using their money correctly. You can get a good quality place to live and a nice car, used if you choose to be frugal, feed yourself and any family whole foods while also playing some. You should be doing pretty well as an individual alone or as a parent earning $100,000 per year.
I see a way for you to continue to grow and for everyone who works with you to begin to get closer to that place of comfort a little more quickly as well. In most companies we each expect a raise if we feel like we have done a good job. That raise is usually 2% or more depending on how well you did. You deserve that raise, I understand that, and no one should take it away. But what if you shared a small portion of it with everyone you work with that is not living with the ability to be as comfortable as you are?
Could you survive if you took any raise of 2.5% or higher and shared the 0.5% with everyone who is not making a minimum of $100,000? If you think about it, you would still be gaining $2,000 for the next year to add to the comfort you already have. The gift of sharing $500 between everyone that is trying to reach the same level of financial freedom is really just a drop in your bucket. You would still be gaining and will have a little more room to play, while opening the same door for your coworkers just a little bit more.
I do not see why every person that makes over $100,000 in every company across the world cannot take their yearly increase of 2.5% or more and share the 0.5%, so they still get at least 2% and the 0.5% gets spread out between all that are lower than them on the income bracket. It will not make anyone poor, or put any individual in hardship, we could all still be okay. Give it some thought and then propose it to your board, then they can offer it down through the entire company as an option to share at will.
