Your place

As society balances out the income and reward for the amount of time one invests into the world we will find an imbalance from the current distribution of pay. There are people who have more than one house, many cars and all sorts of amenities; it is what they are accustomed to and they would feel a sense of hardship if we as a society were to start taking it away. Balancing the scales of income does not need to be a hostile takeover, everyone keeps what they have as we adjust all incomes to match the time each individual has invested into becoming a productive, creative and useful part of society. We can make the change of income happen fast, and people will see a balance begin to ramp up quickly following. Those with the most right now will be able to grow accustomed to the changes they may eventually have to make to keep the level of comfort that they have. Different from today, those who have given up on moving forward will begin to receive a compensation based on what they did before they stopped investing into the world around. But, no one gets a free ride from the government. This compensation change will be for everyone, if you choose to try and get a position as a leader it will be because you want to make things work well for others. The hierarchy will be based on a dedication to doing a task, creating or educating yourself so that you are able to make something easier, more enjoyable or just better for others and yourself if it works out that way.
