There are between 100 and 400 billion stars in this Milky Way galaxy, can you imagine 100 billion stars? If only 1 million of those stars has a planet that is in a position to support life; that is a tiny percentage and I can only imagine that the chances are a little higher that life exists all over this galaxy.
There are about 125 billion galaxies in this universe, which means that by the assumption noted above, there are 125 quadrillion planets that could have life in the universe. That is a lot of possibilities.
I am a lover of science and of faith, I have trouble not seeing them tied together. My faith is empowered by the science I am aware of, and my search of science is driven deeper by my faith in God. Imagination pushes both beyond what I once assumed logical in its absence.
Imagine being an eternal energy that is aware of the ability to be conscious, and placing yourself into an image that gives you every reason to forget that you are eternal. What would that look like, what would have to be created for that energy to forget it's connection to eternity?
Atoms, layers of creative play, from dreams to assumptions of reality, each created by a separate level of consciousness, and each can be tied to any other through finding a link in the waves.
There is power in you, you are under the energy of soul, soul is beneath the layers of existence pouring out of God, that source of everything. You are a part of the creative movement driving existence in God by the desire to be all that possibility can bring.
Science is pondering a multiverse lying in the shadows, the universe alone is vast in ways our imaginations are just now starting to fathom. How much more to take in if a multiverse is discovered? We are energy taking form through a connection to atomic structure, and we are forms that stand under the veil of an assumption of death in this physical universe. We have so much to learn and remember of what we are and how much information is available to our developing brains through our connection to the source.
Be open to what can be, look within while you also seek worldly knowledge to find the connection between science and faith. Our planet is probably one in a quadrillion in this universe, and our universe may prove to be one in an infinite number of realities with possible living worlds. We have so much to learn and so many places to go.
