Making Forward A Gift

There is no human that is "living the dream", look at the amount of suicides among rock stars and the amount of physical or spiritual unhappiness among the rich.  We are each a child that has dreamed of being something, and if we can still remember what that dream was, then we can still hold it in our hearts.  I wanted to be a spaceman then it changed to be a writer and an intellect that inspired people, perhaps you wanted to be a dentist, a designer or a famous musician.  Now we all have to drive in to work at our jobs and we all once imagined ourselves big stars.  I have had a couple moments where it felt like I was so close, I am sure everyone of us has, and when those moments passed we were a little broken.  But if we keep dreaming, imagining and hoping we can see that with a little alteration our goals are still lying out there before us.  I see some people struggling with the discouraging feeling of becoming an office worker and never famous, but we are not done, if we look at what we have accomplished so far and then see how much we can still do because we are not dead yet, then we can keep playing with a new goal.  Perhaps a musician can remember what it is to just make music for the joy of making music, like they did when they were at their peak, just because it was fun.  I can still be a spaceman, I have had to change the idea but keep the dream, literally.  My space has turned into inner space, and that has proven to be as vast as outer space.  We can keep dreaming and moving through life, making the best of the situations we find ourselves in and the people we connect with along the way.  People will move into our lives and some will move beyond us on their own paths, but we can learn something from them or about ourselves because of them, regardless of the amount of time they give us.  Maybe it is about being beyond what others do to you, and knowing that if you move with the energies in your life, then you may find hat God will only put people in your life that can help your growth and understanding, and if anyone is moved out of your life you can see it as a gift and know that they will be brought back only if it is best for you.   Unfortunately we often chase after what we think we want rather than waiting for the perfect thing or person to walk into our lives.  Things will not always be perfect, because we each have the freedom to mess up our own and other people's stuff.  But inside we are still children and our dreams are still in our minds floating with the inner child that is imagining itself as a world changing force.  Never let the child just drift away and never let one day in this world tear apart your whole universe.  Look outside and see how much there is to still take on, then look inside and see how much more there is within you.  We can still live our dreams, one day at a time and one experience at a time till we have lived a life; probably with a real job, a few moments of stardom and a never quenched thirst for youthful play.  Being mature but not letting the world make us old or tired because we live by the dream as it changes and we change the way we make it happen.
